Garibaldi

This book is an excellent overview of the life of Giuseppe Garibaldi as a Military leader. It is well written, which makes an enjoyable reading.

Knowing virtually nothing about Garibaldi other than he was instrumental to Italy's unification during the 19th Century, I looked forward to reading this book knowing that as an Osprey book it would distill the story to its essence. I was not disappointed.

A fresh exposition of our national hero, in the 150th of reunification.Good work and simple but effective analysis about the man and the general.
